Last fall the Friends of Historic Lincoln officially changed its name to the Friends of the Lincoln Historic Site (FOLHS) to better reflect its mission as a non-profit supporting the Lincoln Historic Site (LHS), managed by the New Mexico Department of Cultural Affairs (DCA). As a result, FOLHS took the opportunity to refresh the logo, rebuild the website with a new domain (www.friendsoflincoln.org), and update its social media presence in an effort to make it easier and more effective to raise awareness of the LHS, conduct fundraisers, recruit volunteers, and make the public aware of the work FOLHS is doing to help preserve and protect these historic sites. Today our all-new website quietly went live as we wrap up the finishing touches.

On the new site visitors will find this blog (if you're reading this, you already found it!) which is where most of our new and regular content will be posted and cross-posted with social media. There's also a new and easy way to make donations directly to FOLHS online, an easier way to contact someone from FOLHS, and a refreshed section on the sites that fall under the purview of FOLHS. We hope you enjoy our updated online presence as we continue to preserve the most visited of all of New Mexico's historic sites!
